Chicklets

This album is a dream project for me. I have enjoyed Chick Corea's music since first hearing him with "Return to Forever". His albums have had a profound impact on my musical sensibilities. How I pined to BE Steve Gadd - to play like him - and take part in Chick's amazing musical universe. That dream came into being with this project! Not the play like Gadd part, I'm certainly myself - but the chance to play Chick's music and music influenced by him with awesome musicians! I have known Alan Eicher for years - first playing together in my jazz fusion band in the 1990s in CT. I worked with Trey Henry in LA on the Addams Family musical and loved his playing! I met Charlie Morillas while touring thru SoCal and solidified our friendship in a dive Karaoke bar in Tokyo. It was a honor to make music with these astounding musicians and to finally have the chance to pay tribute to Chick Corea! Enjoy!
